type='text'>Second, and a Second Try

well, exactly one week ago i was awarded the place of second at a lilove club tournament for fencers of all ages. i beat a d ranked fencer 4-5, then lost to him 10-3, first in the round robin, second in the DE's. only thing was...he's an epee, as were many of those i fenced that day. i got silver medal, and then got my ass kicked in sabre, which normally i dominate at, especially those competitions.

this convinced my parents that i should get at epee, and thursday i did, a beautiful italian viscount grip epee. it's heavier than a sabre, but it's also nice and shiny, which appeals to my basic instincts. shiny=good.

also, i've heard talk from our friend currency about a reunion coming up on the 24 to the 25. everybody should call him, talk to him, or otherwise respond, because it would be nice to hang out without the constraints of camp pushing down on us. as for transportation, i was thinking that monkofmonkeys and i should carpool, to save time for both our parents, or wanderer should drive, if he's around and feeling up to it. either person should contact me or comment when you read this, so we can discuss plans.

also, i've discovered a great source of entertainment, in the form of a news website, called the Borowitz Report. i suggest many of you visit there, at www.borowitzreport.com.

-huntre snipes

STUDY: SOME STAR WARS FANS HAVE SEX
New Data Confounds Conventional Wisdom

As the countdown continues to the release of “Star Wars Episode Three: Revenge of the Sith,” a new study indicates that contrary to the conventional wisdom, a small but significant number of “Star Wars” fans may actually have sex.

Dr. Davis Preedon, who supervised the study for the University of Minnesota, said that while sexually active “Star Wars” fans still represent a tiny minority of the fan base, the fact that any “Star Wars” fans at all have sex may force scientists to reevaluate their theories about this little-understood population.

“The prevailing profile of the ‘Star Wars’ fan as a geek who spends ten hours a day on the Internet trying to dig up details of the new film’s plotline is only one piece of the puzzle,” he said. “For every one thousand ‘Star Wars’ fans who meet that description, there is another one who has a girlfriend.”

Shane Losby, 27, a sexually active “Star Wars” fan from Gary, Indiana, says he has tried for years to convince people that he has sex but “it’s really tough to get them to look past the whole ‘Star Wars’ thing.”

Dr. Preedon said his next research project is to test the conventional wisdom that “Star Trek” fans do not have sex: “We’ve just started the preliminary research, but so far that theory seems to be holding up.”

Elsewhere, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said that with the U.S. bogged down in Iraq, the only way to contend with the Axis of Evil will be by somehow convincing North Korea to attack Iran.

-the borowitz report
Movin' Out

i saw movin out tuesday night, and holy shit, i liked it. the music is loud, i was in the third row, far left, so the speakers were right above me. everything in that musical moves, although technically it's a ballet, because nobody speaks, except the guy who plays the songs. this guy is a dead ringer for billy joel, and sings and plays the piano identically to the real musician. his band is with him on this platform that moves from stage level up to the ceiling, and at one point the dancers even climb up there and interact with the band. this stage also moves forwards and packwards, and the same movement ability is granted to some of the speakers and lighting equipment that is on the side of the stage. it moves to allow dancers to pass, or to provide better lighting for every angle. they even drive a car onstage, and then back off again.

these guys were working so hard that every five minutes they changed for different scenes, all of which were set to billy joel songs, and invariably the performers soaked through everything.

dammit caitlin! GO TO LILOV'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, the mexican foreign exchange student that we have been hosting for the past two weeks is adapting very well to america, she speaks english better than we do. she definately beats the french foreign exchange student we had a while ago, because she was a pain in the ass. couldn't stomach any normal food, at all. we made about two trips to the grocery store a day, trying to keep her happy. she wouldn't talk, but monopolized the computer, talking on aim to her friends and family, so that we couldn't use it for schoolwork. we are happy to have our mexican student paulina, although simply by the virtue of her lack of height, she is easily recognized as not one of us. i might post pictures on viewpoint, if i can find my camera.

that's all for now, so peace out.

-huntre snipes
"oh man, that mosquito bite really hurts. oh, nevermind, it's just my nipple. it's okay."

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://huntersniper.blogspot.com/2005/05/movin-out.html' title='Movin' I have had my last visit to the small but useful little clinic where i have been trying to regrow my knees. i have been shocked, stretched, strengthened, and even ultrasounded in the process. every appointment starts with fifteen to twenty minutes of intense bursts of electricity being run through the sides of my knees, alternating in groups of ten seconds, with 5 1/2 lbs on each ancle, and a bolster under my knees, strengthening them when i straighten my legs to receive the current.

after that, i'm given an ultrasound treatment to relax the muscles. next, i do leg extensions in five sets of ten at 64 lbs to strengthen the quads, to keep my knee caps where they should be. some stretching between the exercises keeps my various muscle groups from injuring themselves.

with luck i can continue to use the gym in our school to strengthen the muscles in my knees, before my next serious project.

speaking of big projects, it sounds like in '06 i will be going to tanzania with my family to hike mt. kilamanjaro. it sounds like fun, and an amazing excuse to buy new equipment, but i hope my stage of recovery will allow me to do it by then. i hear that you have to start at midnight when you climb it, or it gets too hot and takes too long. coincidentally, REI is having a 20% discount, so i've gotta talk to my parents abotu getting a tent...

i'm back.
star wars episode III: revenge of the sith will soon be out in theatres, it will. i have a friend in the movie business, and he sees everything months before the official release, and he says its dark, but better than the previous two episodes. anakin goes dark. people die. everyone knows kinda what happens, we just want to learn the details. this friend is a 21 year old student who works at a movie theater, and also happens to fence (albeit foil) and he is a big fan of paintball. i trust his opinion, and everything i've heard tends to go along with this idea of the third movie being the best of the new ones, although none of them could match up to the original three in the trilogy... the timeless masterpieces.

i gotta go, my dad is yelling at me. good night.

-huntre snipes
"-other kids have been sent to the principal, you know.
my return

well, i'm back from my little camping trip to the middle of utah. it was fun, but tiring, and on some level i'm glad to be back, even though it means returning to the usual drudgery of school, work, responsibility, and the end of all that is considered good.

for a while i've been pretty depressed, and i can't seem to shake it, no matter what i do. it was concluded with a burglary yesterday, a miserable flight home, and a direct trip from the airport to fencing to i could go teach little whelps how to use swords. as usual, austin got the brunt of it, and shen got in the way, and made life kinda miserable.

the trip wasn't camping, in the truest sense of the word, because it was out of an RV, which has all the benefits of a modern house, except it moves, so the beautiful mountains and canyons come to you, rather than spending days marching on miserable feet in bad weather. speaking of which, i got hailed on while i was trying to climb straight up the steepest part of teh mountain, and pictures will soon be featured on the other blog for you to see (http://huntersniper-viewpoint.blogspot.com).

i also had to babysit today for two worthless brats who can't even go to sleep without somebody sitting in their rooms for a few hours. they can not even brush their own teeth by themselves, but they can master playstation 2 and play chess competently. the worse part is the younger one is better than his older brother in every possible way.

jet lag had me incapable of movement this morning, when i had to go help a friend on a project. the good news was that i destroyed virtually every piece of junk that can be found, after it was hauled out of a garage and evaluated for worth. a few sledgehammers provided adequate fun for a while, until we found some 'cable cuffs,' which are used for storing spare cables and such to keep them out of the way. needless to say, we had endless amounts of fun handcuffing each other to stuff. we discovered that they are easy to escape, if you can move your wrists. one poor kid got handcuffed, behind his back, to a chain-linked fence, and he couldn't escape until his dad showed up and let him go.

i gotta go dig some clean clothes out of my suitcase, which still needs to be unpacked.

good news is that i found a new book, the bad news is that i'm almost all the way through the 560 pages. blue blood is by edward conlon, and details his actions with the nypd, narcotics, housing, and detective squad. it's good, and it has a lot of history combined with details, so one can really understand what he went through. the description of 9/11 really got to me, when i read it at 1:30 this morning. like i said, i don't like jet lag.

lordhokage, hall ass and get that reunion going. there are some people from kutchers that i really miss, and i'm hoping for at least a small chance to see them soon.

if ever time is available, let me know and we can hang out, or just talk. sorry i keep calling after your asleep, or when your not around. i miss you.

in the meantime, i will keep posting drawings and pictures i took, i have about 150 to work on before i post them, and it could take me a while.

-huntre snipes

Missed Reunion

supposedly there was a kutcher's reunion today.

i in fact had no idea what was going on, so naturally i missed it. i only learned through a livejournal post that a read today. if you want me to go, comment on my blog. if you comment there, i will get it. email me. hell, call me if you want to. if you don't want me to, then whatever. okay.

i made a few phonecalls again, trying to track people down, but neither house nor her cell picked up, so nothing. i'll probably try again later.

shit, i miss everybody from camp, and i'm hoping that i'll be able to see at least a few people from kutchers before we're there again. a different atmosphere would probalbly be good.

life drifts on, at least i have a spring break to look forward to. i feel like doing some camping, hiking, maybe even some paintball if i can spring it.
New Blog

well, i've done it. after my last two blog ideas crashed when my image hoster went down, i now have google's hello and picasa supporting my pictures, in conjunction with blogger, and i bring to you a new site. ready?

http://huntersniper-viewpoint.blogspot.com

if that link doesn't work, then it can be found at:

http://huntersniper-viewpoint.blogspot.com

This will have all my camera pictures, older pictures from my computer, drawings, pictures of friends, even the famed kutcher's composite is there. i am currently messing with the html for that site too, so there should be a working site meter, and links going there soon. the toolbar to your right has a link to the picture blog, and that one has a link back here on it. that one will also have links to friends blogs, but now i'm checking and seeing who has what currently being used.

at some time in the future i might move everything over to that blog, but right now I'll continue to use both.

the title is derived, as usual, from my name and a description of the blog, usually just one word. i figure that a camera is a good way to convey my point of view unto you, the reader, and all the stuff that i see becomes what you see. my pencils convey my thoughts and (overactive) imagination to the casual reader, so pictures will soon be posted there too.

welcome to the next step, i suggest that you go there now.

Fencing Breakthroughs

in the last week I have had two pretty good showings in fencing. the first was on the second, when i got an E-05 at the Y16s. Today i got gold at a club level competition with the regulars (including MonkofMonkeys) around.

Sorry about the lack of postage. Comcast went down over the entire state or something, so anybody with digital cable took a pretty serious hit. This has kept me from posting, and delayed various aspects of everybody's life. luckily, i'm not so dependent on the internet that i couldn't get over it, unlike many of the people i know who just kinda flipped out.

I also resolved the jacket problems that I'd been experiencing, although it took way too long. At the frosh/sophs my jacket zipper broke, and i had to borrow a school jacket that didn't fit. the zipper was then mangled at the state squads when a saberist cut into my collerbone, and cut clean through the zipper. left one hell of a mark too. then my jacket was acccidently returned to the school, and i didn't notice until last week when I ended up finding the school jacket in my bag, which i then used to get my E. thursday i helped my coach put away some equipment he fixed after searching with him through every box, bag, and pile in the fencing closet. lo and behold, my jacket turned up. and he fixed the zipper for me, solving both of my problems easily. now i need to get the zipper on my dry jacket fixed (yes, i do realize that i have problems), and maybe look into getting my name on the back of my electric jacket. if i ever get around to it before i outgrow it.

i heard that lordhokage is organizing a reunion or something. it's in his hands now. he is also getting everybody's home and cell numbers so that we have a phone list. if you haven't, then you should give your stuff to him.

-huntre snipes
"you don't want to drive, do you."
"you've got to be kidding. yes. duh."

Plug Me in and Flip the Switch

everybody seems to have taken this little quiz, so i might as well.

You have that Oh-so-lovable Ningen IY Soul.
You usually don't think about what's best for you,
since your so very impulsive, but you mean no
harm. You would gladly risk anything and
everything for those around you. Be careful,
kid, because someday that's going to put you in
more danger then you can handle- and no matter
how much you don't belive me- you won't be able
to handle it. It's a big world out there.
You probably don't care much about yourself and
would rather be someone else, but you don't
know how lucky you are. Sit down and take a
look at yourself. Instead of seeing a weak
helpless person, look into your personality and
your friends.
Your heart is a bit too blind, and you would much
rather keep yourself to yourself. A moving vehicle that ways a few thousand pounds is now under my control. who could not love that feeling. it's wonderful. soon i will be visiting some of you readers all over the country. just drop me a line, or leak your address. by this time next year i will be driving with a cinderella license, and until then i just need a somewhat conscious adult in the front seat.

The fencing season is over, and we had our end of season fencers-only dinner. we went to the local mongolian bbq, and i love that food. my favorite restaurant. meat fried with noodles and any number of toppings, with sushi and a normal chinese buffet as part of the full buffet deal. after eating there i feel like throwing up, and eventually i get to the point where moving hurts, so i just turn on a movie and relax. living the high life. now that there is no more fencing meets, practises, or taking crap advice from our coach, i'm home free.

as for faulty machinery, the online image hosting service that previously stored everything for this site, and my other two creations decided to stop, and i've lost all the pictures that i had saved. after i find a new one that i can use i'll work on getting the database set back up. i'm negotiating with some friends, the guys who set up my mail service, but nothing yet. if i do have pictures, i'll post them here with a different service.

-huntersniper

"Remember, if you can't be an athlete, be an athletic supporter."

Great Picture

Well, now I'm trying to post more frequently than I have, because of my crazy schedule and various other problems I have been unable or disinclined to post. But I'm back, and I'm trying to reform my habits.

Here's a great picture I found the other day while trying to learn how to draw Wolverine's head, which I have failed many times at. The site has a lot of superheroes, and various other drawings, and it's pretty cool. If I can find it again I'll post a link, because otherwise it would be unfair to copy their pictures shamefully.

If this doesn't work, give me some time, I'm working on it. I might have to come back and return to this post a few times before I get the HTML right, I'm not used to doing it in posts. Sorry if the wording is a little small. It reads in letters that are supposed to look like they were clipped out of newspapers and magazines, "Even homicidal maniacs need love." This picture speaks to me. It's well drawn, and funny, and the joker is cool, nomatter what anybody says.

-"What the hell were you doing? If you want the point you have to attack." Tommygun
-"Coach, you're wrong, that was an attack." Me

-huntersniper here saying: I miss you. Even homicidal maniac fencers need love. See you soon, I hope.

Spring is in the air......DAMN

unfortunately it is that time of the year. time to decide what will be happening during the upcoming summer.

first, i will be teaching a day camp for kids. don't laugh, i get paid.

second, i will be traveling to switzerland for some awesome backpacking and camping. it's fun, and every day is a new adventure. [seriously, weird shit happens out there, you never know what is next.]

then i will try to get a job as a lifeguard. i got certified last summer, so i would like to get hired by my local pool. i'll just have to see how that turns out.

fourth, i will probably be returning to kutcher's for the fourth year running. lasts year some of you will remember that i was a few days late because of my trip to poland. this year the two camps are at the exact same time, so i don't know what to do. if anyone has any strong opinions, just shout out. i'd like to know your thoughts.

that is virtually everything. there might be some smaller stuff coming up, but nothing else planned as of now. if anyone else will be returning to kutchers, please let me, know. curiosity has been calling me as of late.

i have to go now. a job opportunity just presented itself.

That Time of the Year

well, folks, it's that time of the year: midterms. there's nothing we can do but study, and who in their right mind would want to do that?

work is piling up, i know have something like four long term projects due anytime from the 31 to sometime in march. i should be working on those now, but it's hard to summon up the work ethic. somehow, after a few straight hours of intense testing, i just want to forget, to relax, to remember better times in better places with better people.

what ever happened to normal life, did it just go out of style in the late 90s? did somebody decide that they wanted to change everything, and then they succeeded. thirty one americans die in a helicopter crash in iraq. the bloodiest day in the war is when we should have already won. after all, it did start 22 months ago. if we have to be there, we should do things the proper way. no more hillbilly armor. no more getting kevlar for christmas or your b-day. the americans fighting abroad should be stuffed with booze and decorated in lamp-shades, not lead and purple hearts.

a commuter train crashed when some idiot decided to kill himself. he drove an SUV onto the tracks, and waited for a train to come. as he saw the train approaching he climbed out of the car and walked away, deciding to save his own life. he watched the train crash, and eleven people were killed, and over 200 wounded because this abortion-that-lived thought he could destroy himself. he didn't get a scratch, but he was responsible for many others. local costco workers helped pull the bodies and wounded from the smoking wreckage. those trains seem pretty solid until you see them crumpled and torn in half.

guatanamo bay prison facility is also under scrutiny. some high level shmuch, probably bush, signed away the freedom of an unknown number of people being held there illegally. no charges brought against them. inhumane acts of torture are being committed there day by day. the complex, affectionately called "gitmo" by those familiar with it, is outside of the law. if the guards think that somebody has information, they use virtually any means necessary to get it. about a score of inmate deaths there are now being investigated. and some people wonder why americans who are captured in hostile countries are beheaded or their bodies are desecrated.

violence, prostitution, and any number of other things are now major parts of the videogames that children play. not even our age, they see things that they perceive as okay, because they do not know to distinguish reality from fiction. truth from lies. lawful from unlawful. movies are now filled with cursing, violence, sex, and any number of things to attract viewers. that's sad. back to the good old days of the marx brothers i say. music is going the same way as everything else, just listen to the lyrics of rap. i'm fed up with this crap. i want to take a nap.

"remember boys, even a blind sqirrel finds a nut" -coach t
"yeah, a blind squirrel found my nuts once, it hurt." -standard response
Pictures, Drawings, and Photos

isn't fate interesting? within hours of deciding to start the other gallery that i've been threatening for a while i learned that another very, very, good friend had started a picture blog. funny how these things work.

send me pictures in email attachments if you want them included, or i might also be able to take them off other people's blogs if you give me permission. i'm not going to use a photo without somebody informing the that it is okay with them. as usual, full names won't be provided, because i consider that just a bad idea. if you want i might include our "other" names, mostly screen names or variations of such.

also, i am about halfway through one of the most complex spiderman drawings i have created, and because of that haven't posted to my drawings gallery. i do have a few things however, that i might add, so sometime this weekend i will drop in some new stuff. keep checking back to http://huntersniper-pictures.blogspot.com .

the new gallery will be posted at http://huntersniper-photos.blogspot.com when it is up and running, probably within a week. action shots, dumb things on film, and portraits are welcome. lets try to keep the porn below a few megs, just so it doesn't kill the server, (just kidding).

to post pictures to your blog, keep them under one meg in jpg or gif format, and upload them to http://www.imagehosting.us.com/index.php?ref=google . it works, and just check out the urls until you find one that works.

also, i'm incredibly happy because it's snowing. blizard conditions are expected for the next few days, which means i'll have a nice quiet weekend, probably including monday, to study, draw, or blog whatever floats into my mind. i love the snow. so much fun. skiing in february coming up. got to love snow sports.

and, one last thing. my birthday is in a couple of days. the ninth. then I'll get my permit, and be on my way. one year after that, i'm free to come and go as i please. watch out, i may be paying some of you a few visits when i get my cinderella license. and the permit? one year of intense practise. hahaha. watch out.

"wounds of the flesh a surgeons skill may heal,
but wounds of honor are only cured with steel."

miss you. cancelled, because we should still have it, and to my understanding everybody wants to see everybody else, but not this weekend. drop a comment or email with when would be best, and i can keep a master list, but we need a day that everybody can agree on. it will probably have to be after the fencing season, because so much fencing pushes work onto the weekends, and tournaments and competitions get moved around and rescheduled, so we can't plan anything out now. sorry.

shit, this happens a few days too late. if this had been decided a bit earlier then i would have been able to get a big babysitting job that weekend. i know at least one other person had to cancel because she was working then, and needed the cash. understandable. some people said that they would be around at first, then changed their minds recently. shit happends, but could we please try to avoid this? just to make everything clear.

if there type='text'>it's complicated, and people are shooting me

well, life has just gotten a little more complicated. i am struggling through an amazing amount of work, and i am getting an average of 6.5 hours of sleep a night. my parents just heard at some PTO conference that the average teen needs 9-10, or about that. wow. turns out i'm lagging behind in just about everything. i know this because my algebra II teacher has started to recommend electro shock therapy. realizing that i have no time to study, i am now not telling my parents about all the quizzes and tests that i have, just so they won't bug me to study when they know i don't have the time. to try to counter all of this, i have scheduled in some free time every weekend, with some pretty cool activities, just to try to keep my at my current level of sanity.

1/1/05- new year's party. champagne with some fermented flavor stuff might have helped. I'm not sure, i didn't have too much of it.

1/9/05- paintball trip, again. i went to paintball depot (www.paintballdepot.com) where my team has free entry as part of a sponcorship. we played as part of their winterfest big game scenario, and it was cool. moonslice was there, along with joe. my gun COOKIEING quit working at the end, and same with my goggles, so i was running around trying to find people (i couldn't see more than five feet) so i could shotgun them, or firing from the hip a few times. my teammates were keeping low and moving properly, i seriously could not see the other team, who happened to be shooting at me. i got shot a lot, but no serious injuries, despite my own team shooting me in the throat. it was fun, and at the end my raffle ticket was just two off from winning some damn cool stuff. too bad, cause that really sucks.

1/15/05- killington ski trip with some friends. it is at killington ski resort in vermont. it's pretty cool, although the snow sucks, so it's just getting me back in practise for february, when i will do some real skiing in utah. despite how much fun it is, i will have some problems because it takes all weekend, even though it's a three day weekend. so i will be working all this week to get ready for it.

1/22/04- the reunion is breaking up, and as i see it, we should move it up a day so it's friday to saturday. monkofmonkeys and kaonashi can't go then, but phantesie and i can. pinpig123 says he probably can't go that entire weekend, and if he go he can't stay overnight. i haven't heard from kangaroo, or her brother. his girlfriend says she won't be around. maybe we could move it, but who ever's around could just hang out on saturday, or something, without sleeping over.

and so on this kind of routine my life continues, although right now it doesn't sound as painful as kaonashi's right now. check her blog. we're here for you if you ever want to scream, rant, type, or god forbid, talk. we're your friends and we're responsible for your lack of sanity, let us help. we hope you feel better, and best wishes for the year. and to the rest of you, also.

i have to go now, i have a four page paper to write in the next hour. excuse me, half an hour.

can't wait to see all of you again, and especially some of you that i haven't seen since camp.

"do what's right now and repent later." mark twain
Hangovers: how to start a new year

hope everybody is recovering nicely from their new years eve bash. as a gym teacher once told me, "times is the only was to become sober. a cold shower gives you a clean drunk, a cup of coffee gives you a wired drunk, and slapping the person around gives you a mad drunk. only time will help." you all should probably take that advice to heart. as for hangovers, just turn the volume on your friends down really low, and if they yell threaten to beat them to death. it normally works. best wishes to a new year, although many of you are cursing out loud at the prospect of returning to school and working again.

sounds like there are few problems in the reunion plan, but we're trying to work them out, i need to hear from everybody exactly what date is good, and if they can hang out all night. not that much time left, so we'll see what we can do.

millburn has been set to have meets, but they keep avoiding me, though just barely. one meet, one bout against another school, and i will make varsity. one team is so new, they forgot to get the buses arranged, and the other i couldn't fence because of the car accident. now we fence another one tomorrow, and i'm wondering what events will transpire to keep me from getting a varsity letter this time. i hope it doesn't involve more than a pint of my blood.

the death toll for the tsunami continues to climb, and we will never know for sure how many lives it took, because entire families were destroyed, leaving no one to report their deaths. property damage is enormous, and could have been prevented by buildings designed to stand up to the shock. also, had these countries developed an effective warning system, people would have been able to evacuate, because the tsunami was hours after the main earthquake, and while one place was flooded an hour after the main shock, some places were flooded 17 hours later, and that is plenty of time to evacuate. if only they had known the danger, and established some kind of system. all you catholic school girls (the one holding the whip) should pray for their souls. so should the rest of us.

well, school sucks, because now i'm back to work. homework, tests, and projects have piled up, and i've only been back at school for one day. man, this sucks. and i know most of you are probably going through the same thing. good luck.

next break, for most of us, is in february i think, and by that time i'll have my permit, and be cruising around town in style. sweet. one month, six days, and counting.

hope to see you all soon. just 19 more days until the reunion, i can't wait.
"who will guard the guards?"
-huntersniper
The Phantom's Stitches

well, i just did two things in the last 24 hours. i saw the phantom of the opera, and i got my stitches removed. while the movie was a blessing upon my poor, tortured soul, and stitches were just plain painful.

the movie would be the equivalent of taking a camcorder into the play of the same name and filming everything, while making sure to get the soundtrack in crisp, clear, perfect format. it was beautiful, although if you have spent hours listening to the soundtrack like i have you might be bored, like my family was. also, they have made a few noticible changes to the dialogue, and they stick out if you know what you're listening to, but if not they will go right over your head. my favorite scene is the transformation of the opera house in the beginning from a destroyed shell of a building to the center of society that it was for many years on end. sheer beauty. i liked the movie, and i thought the casting was great, although my family spent the entire car ride home wondering if with all that cleavage the cast members would get cold running around in the snow. my only complaint is that in the sword fight between the phantom and raoul, the phantom lost. this is wrong. in the book he wins the fight, if you could call it that. in the play he wins. they don't even use swords, the phantom just spits fire at him. as a fencer, i'm perfectly fine with swords, but christine should have begged the phantom for raoul's life. why oh why would those idiots do it the other way around is beyond me.

the stitches were removed today which means that i'm well on my way to recovery, although there seems to be a slight infection which should clear up if i keep some kind of cream on it. i thought about it, but decided against going in and having plastic surgery to alter a few things concerning the stitches and their projected road to recovery. if anyone would like to lodge a complaint please feel free to do so, and i will insult them at a later time, in a manner fitting their particular character.

keep commenting, and enjoy the rest of the holidays, because we're running out of time.

"you may write me down in history,
with your twisted bitter lies.
you may trod me in the very earth,
but still like dust i'll rise."

To Shave or not to Shave, and Close Shave

Well, today's events have been bizarre, and i spent few hours in the emergency room because of them. friends, romans, countrymen, i have good news, and bad news. and even worse news. sorry, i lied, no good news. turns out that i am the proud new victim of a hit and run. dead serious. my news for today is i was hit by a car trying to walk home after a fencing practise at about four o'clock. i went to the emergency room after stopping at my friend's house to feed his cat.

while crossing the street, i got hit by a white or silver sedan. it wasn't too bad, but it tossed me to the side, nearly ran over me, and ended up sending my flying into the side of the street. after taking care of a few previous problems, i went to the emergency room where i sat for a few hours before having to take my pants off so people could take pictures (x-ray my knee for fractures), and then sew me up with seven lighter stitches near the surface of the skin and one deeper on that will nead to disintegrate in time.

i am bruised, bloody, and i just finished filling out the police report and baking some cookies before updating this blog. the pain from my chin where i got the stitches is killing me, and making it hard to concentrate. my right knee (the one that bothered me in fencing camp) hurts so much that i can barely walk. it lost a lot of skin, and it would have been worse, but i was wearing sweat pants under regular pants because of the fencing practise, so that added a little extra cushioning.

the woman who hit me gave me a name and number when i asked for it, "just in case," but i only discovered later that it was only a first name, and the number apparently was disconnected. so they lied, and won't be paying the insurance bills or having points deducted from their license because of this. the police say the only way to find her is to trace the last place the number worked, and hope she turns herself in.

this is my close shave with death for this week, and as usual i have become a bit more philosophical because of it. i can hardly imagine death, and what shape it would take for me, but i would have never guessed that it could be like this. i cannot imagine what death would be like, and i have yet to decide my beliefs, an eternal kingdom of hope, despair, or nothingness. these are beyond my imagination, although i am working on it. each one of them requires their opposite to define it, so it would be impossible to define them if there is no chance of me experiencing their opposite.

i could have been roadkill, and the car nearly ran over me, instead of just sideswiping me. i could be dead right now, and this blog would fall into nothingness as some of you would learn the day of my death, and some would learn days, weeks, or even months from now. as it is, the orders for my parents are to wake me up every two hours, and ask me my name, location, and current date to check for a concussion, or the remains of one. and for death, the more morbid possiblity.

mostlyevilone/wanderer, this is my close shave with death, the one that you were talking about for a while.

on a happier note, i was contemplating shaving the few whiskers that i have, and the light beard that i am cultivating. if anyone has any advice, or in phantesie's case, preferences, please feel free to list them hear, and when the cut on my chin closes i will be happy to oblidge you.

"what doesn't kill you will make you stronger."
"death is the last great adventure."

-huntersniper, the hunted, the hunter

Reunion and Warm-ups

Well, because the life of our group, ntrlyhigh, from what i hear could possibly be around the night of january 23, there is a motion to move the sleepover back a night. anyone who this would interfere with should post here, or if you can make it post here.

phantesie, please correct me if i'm wrong, MonkofMonkeys was the one who told me, so i'm not sure

Millburn fencing just got our ugly warm up suits for this year. three years ago they had awesome designs, and now crap. oh well, it beats wearing a button down shirt and tie before meets, so i might as well go with it. at least they spelled my name right, which is something my loyal fans in the press could never do.

because of a rumor that i may get a digital camera for christmas, i was wondering how people felt about me taking pictures of the reunion and posting them, for us and for our friends. MonkofMonkeys has volunteered to make a collage, which i could also post, pending your approval. if anyone has any problems, i would not like to do this without their permission, so please post your thoughts. there will probably be another blog for that, like http://huntersniper-pictures.blogspot.com, or simply a blog with all the html deleated and replaced.

PLEASE RESPOND WITH YOUR VIEWS, THIS IS IMPORTANT. I have not gone last year either, and i am hoping to kick some ass at the national level.

Also, The Star Ledger just had a large article about fencing in it yesterday. we're finally going to be popular. Mad dance party time. whoo-hoo! It mentions many people that often go to lilov's, and some people from kutchers, with two from my trip to poland and the check republic last summer. soon our day will come, and we will be the ones in the photos. Millburnites, there should also be an article on fencing coming out in The Item soon, i saw the sports reporter interview the team and coaches the other day. keep your eyes open.

later all, and comment, there has been nothing recently.
-huntersniper
http://huntersniper-pictures.blogspot.com

Fencing Tournament

MonkofMonkeys, Charlie, and myself all met at Lilov's yesterday for a big tournament, and of course, the christmas party. We all got our asses kicked, which was no surprise considering the many good fencers that turned up. I sucked, having fenced constantly all of last week, and was in no shape, but I still beat John Rothaman, after losing to MonkofMonkeys 5-4, despite losing 4-0, making a 4 point comeback, and still getting hit. on two separate bouts, with two different people, I still did the same thing. wow. that takes skill.

the party was the usual bunch of people talking, and foods that no American could hope to recognize. Among the delicious delectables were Saigon beef strips, pirogi, brownnies, cup cakes, cookies, vanilla coke (and regular) baked ziti, some kind of meat roles, and other good foods. There was enough there to feed a small army, and it still dissapeared in the first few seconds. The food was good, and it was fun to hang out with friends, and even see some people who graduated high school last year.

Today was a constant messs of homework. After waking up at the ungodly hour of 11, I had to do so much, and now I'm simply avoiding science. thanks to my loyal readers who make that possible.

School practises are becomming a bit better, since we actually started fencing electric, and not jsut doing footwork drills. Soon we will have our first meet against Beyonne high, and we will rock them, on the 21, or 23. I can't remember the date.

the christmas season is here, and haunikah (sp?) is also now underway. please comment on what you recieve, as i will Christmas morning

got to go
-huntersniper

A Thousand 'Thank You's.

Thanks to everybody who was concerned over my health. I am feeling a little better, but my voice is still worthless, and I am dripping snot (I concure, that is not a pretty picture). Although humans in life run around trying to avoid pain (in most cases, except where MonkofMonkeys is concerned; running into walls) we find so many ways to cause ourselves this discomfort, and nature in the form of poor health also provides us with adequate assistance. It must also be noted, that this is indeed a blessing in disguise, because while poor health may separate two people physically, it brings them mentally closer. And so my latest bout with whatever has done, on a larger scale. I wish to extend my thanks to all those who chimed in with usefull advice, or the kind of language that will get this blog banned (MonkofMonkeys). It has truly been wonderful to read what all of my friends are saying to me. In return, I type thank you.

Kin of the Fall, please identify yourself, at least until I remember who is who, especially for new commentators. Real names are not used out of habit on this site, but screennames, nicknames, or modifications of the afformentioned titles are appropriate. This, naturally, goes for anyone who might find themselves traveling through this blog at whatever speed their ill-equiped computer can.

MonkofMonkeys was trapped at club last Friday with about 50 loud, hyper, dumb kids. A round of applause for not committing suicide. Now he gets to feel what it's like to teach that class. Normally I'm the only one trying to help those two-foot-tall fools.

The use of notifying me of a new blog a friend started is negated when you fail to provide the URL. Once that has been added, we can all spam the hell out of him whenever we feel like it.

The new goal for hits is 200, although after that I might have to start raising it by hundreds, not fifty.

Best of luck to all of you in life, let your health not fail you in this merry season, so that we all might complete school soon, earning our next vacation. CHRISTMAS!!! YES!!!! Gotta love the holidays, they bring out the warm, fuzzy, greedy feelings in all of us.

Do not neglect the picture gallery. Something about having a fever, and having to stay home from school. I say 'having' because staying home from school requires me to make up work, and catch up on all the work I've been avoiding recently. I have also been avoiding work, which allows me to add some more pictures to the gallery at http://huntersniper-pictures.blogspot.com GO VISIT IT NOW, BOOKMARK IT, AND KEEP GOING BACK. It'll just have a link back to here.

congradulations to phantesie for making the junior olympics, and taking home some gold and silver. I would have gone, but i have no idea what they are, where they were, when they were, and my coach decided not to tell me. great. just great. and i could have beaten somebody, probably. Has anyone seen MonkofMonkeys lately? i haven't been going to fencing because of school, and he hasn't commented. If he's out there, tell him to he should visit more often. All fencers are always welcome to this blog.

Being sick always makes me think of how easily humans die, and how many ways they can die. right now i feel so crappy i wish i would die. Just imagine how many people would be alive if it took more to kill a human, and what these people could have done if they weren't stopped part way through life. Damn, it's depressing.

I wish that when I have a fever and feel like crap that my devoted and faithful friends were here, always talking, visiting, chilling with me, and bringing me isotonic lemon lime drinks, no matter how bad they taste. Alas, for the good old days. watching Who's line is it anyway in the arms of your good friends, discussing squirrels and their merits, spotting CHIPMUNKs roaming through the buildings, and spending time with those who care about you. I really do wish that would happen to me when i'm sick. And me and MonkofMonkeys, and wanderer_1210/mostlyevilone could stay up all night, talking about whatever, then try to convince phantesie, DragonscholaSoru, and Kaonashi that we were healthy enough to go to morning practise.

Jan 22, people, talk to your parents, and email me for details, it sounds like we could be partying into the 23, if we're lucky.

-huntersniper
http://huntersniper-pictures.blogspot.com

Drawings, Hobbies, and Millburn Fencing

Sorry once again about my limited posts recently. I thought that work would be lessened after Tuesday, but I was wrong. It appears as though next week will be hell, and same for this weekend. Whatever. I’ll find some way to accomplish everything.

On a brighter note, I have discovered how to get pictures uploaded onto the internet, although the means to do so are complicated and far from precise. I have loaded on a Wolverine picture that I am fond of, and a logo that I plan to use for any number of Huntersniper™ sites, (yes, I’m kidding about the trademark). It was based upon a little doodle I did of the Spiderman logo, with red letters on web. I think it looks cool, so it has been activated. I will try to put one of the pictures in my profile, so that it will be displayed on the site. A new page has been constructed, and this one will store whatever I upload to the internet, along with a short commentary about what thoughts were shining through the mental haze when I drew them. My method of uploading requires me to limit their sizes, and keep the file from exceeding 1 meg, so they aren’t as clear as I would like. I will have thumbnails as links for a few in the sidebar, just so I can show the best of them off. A link to the new site that I’m using for the pictures will appear in the sidebar under “Realm Links,” so there will always be a way to get there. Also, as the red comment does declare, I plan to put up some Spiderman pictures, as I am just completing a very nice one now. I may also decide to post a little comic book type set of three drawings I did, about Spiderman and Doc Ock. But they’re not done yet, so they might take a while. Please excuse the lined paper with writing on the back, I do these during class and I store them in a notebook with real work.

The other Realm Link, to my short story, is active, although I don’t know if anybody read the small part I have up now. I will be posting the rest of it soon, but I have been experiencing problems with the html, so it has been kinda slow. Also, it takes forever to copy and paste everything, then go back and find the individual paragraphs so I can space them out. Otherwise it would be impossible to read.

I am also practicing a new hobby that I picked up. Lockpicking. Not to steal anything, mind you. I had to get into a kitchen in a school to get a drink of water a few weeks ago, but it was locked so I slid a paper clip around part of the lock between the door and the door frame, and pulled. It came undone, and I was granted access. Because I was wondering about more practical ways to do this, I checked the internet, and got a summary of how to open a lock with little or no trouble. Now, through some playing around, and some small amount of dedicated time, I am now good enough to gain access to my desk drawers and file cabinet without a key. It is a useful skill, and one I hope to improve. BTW, I strongly suggest all of you get electronic security systems, and 6 or 7 pin locks with the mushroom heads that make picking them more complicated. I am looking for a challenge, hahaha. If interested in lockpicking, try a google search.

In fencing news today, the Millburn High team had another fundraiser in the form of a bake sale, one with only a few baked goods. We made about $50, selling cans of Vanilla and Diet coke for 75 cents, brownies for 50 cents, and a wide variety of donuts for $1. The teachers in my school are jackasses, because each one of them offers a different insightful argument for why they shouldn’t pay that much for already cheap food products. It really is kind of scary. Also, fencing practices are underway, and I might have mentioned that already, but I’m getting senile so I’ll say it again, the fencing practices are underway. We need to train the freshman, and the girls team because it is scary how much they suck.

Best of luck to all of you and your fencing teams!
Keep checking back, I change something almost daily.
Ntrlyhigh, I miss you.
-huntersniper
huntersniper-pictures.blogspot.com
xanga username= huntersniper

Massive Information Overload

Wow it’s been a busy week recently. All of my work is pressing down on my head, although I have some indicators that it will let up recently. Before I delve into hysterics trying to convince you, the reader, of my problems, I will apologize for not updating in a while. It is my duty to update and maintain this site, and I have neglected it recently. If anybody wants to kill me for my failure please do the gruesome deed before the algebra II test tomorrow.

Homework and tests
I have been swamped. History is going through a new chapter every week. This is suicide. We will be bleeding out the ears if this continues. That is a ton of reading. I have been really behind in algebra because of a new unit we started. Factoring. I have not done this in a few years. My school system separates the algebra courses by a year of geometry, so we conveniently forget everything we learned except the most basic concepts. Test tomorrow. I’m doomed. English has a paper on Mark Twain also due tomorrow. It is half done, so you can see that I’m in trouble. For fiction writing I have to write three pages for Friday, so it’s a good thing this isn’t typed, or else I might have to make it even longer. These “journal entries” are due every week, or it wouldn’t be so bad. I have a large Spanish project also due tomorrow, although in class today I learned that I screwed it up in a new and interesting way, so I have to triple the size, translate some dialogue, and then memorize it. Wow. It gets better and better doesn’t it? Finally, I have some packets to do for science, so I should go and do those soon so I don’t start to fall behind in that.

Web sites
There are a ton of new versions for people’s blogs coming out all of the sudden. I admit, even I have one. (http://huntersniper-other.blogspot.com). I am slowly but surely transferring the work document to html, it should be done in a week or less. The difference between these is that this one works with my site, while others replace sites entirely. I will have new links in the section to the right soon, and they include a curse-free blog, two live journal blogs, one of which is the only one to be updated from now on (kaonashi’s, mostlyevilone has the xanga still). A few more are probably on the way. I will try to keep everything updated, but remember, I only find things by accident or when somebody tells me.

Paintball 11/28/04
It was a blast. Moonslice and Berky (the one whose knickers were fixed at kutchers by Donna Serpente ) were on my team, while Frodo (monkofmonkey’s roommate from kutchers) and a few others didn’t even show. We were out-numbered, out-gunned, out-matched, and on nearly every game they forced us into territory without good cover then proceeded to shoot the $h*t out of us. I am now sporting for the winter fashion accessories a bruise on my neck, shin, and one under my arm, although I don’t know how somebody shot me there. I was also a victim to friendly fire, as I was shot no less than ten times by my own team. I would have lit them up with paint, but if they started to shoot me on purpose I would have absolutely no cover. So I was forced to spare them. Damn.

Welcome
I don’t know how long you’ve been coming to this site, but now I would like to congratulate Phantesie on her first post here. It’s good to hear from you. I miss you, and I’m sorry that you’re parents won’t let you go the reunion. If you want, I’m sure everybody here would be happy to bombard you’re parents with emails begging them to release you from their clasp. I hope that you manage not to get too overworked, and that you still have some time for the good things in life. Sorry for not commenting recently, but I was trying to think of something witty to write, and I haven’t been able to check back too much because of the workload. i'm thankful for people who always want to hang out with you.

Hope to keep posting soon.
Yours in cyberspace
-huntersniper

Responce and News

Kaonashi, as a responce to your last comment, why are you afraid to take showers? does MonkofMonkeys really like it that dirty? [no offense to either party, please don't kill me. i know i give you two a lot of crap] or the phone ringing scares you that much? i heard that Grudge wasn't even that scary. whatever. and you never answered, is it the ikea near rexplex and newark airport? cause it's about half an hour from where i live. I still don't know everybody's location, and i'm trying to plan for the winter reunion.

you realize that you are trained in the use of swords, that could come in helpful when persuading friends to see your point of view, right? i've noticed that when you show them what a saber can do they are often very fast to correct their previous mistakes. i have dueled many of my friends in a driveway, just as long as everybody has masks you should be fine.

the latest news for the winter reunion is thus: there is a possiblity that the sleepover could work, although don't get your hopes up, i am waiting for a reply. DragonScholar, check your inbox. also, everybody should learn how they could get to new york. train is looking like the best, although as long as you can get there you should be okay. talk to your parents, convince them that they will be better off if you go to the party, and that you are mature and resoponsible. this might not work for some of you.

fencing- millburn's first practise is monday at three, then the fun begins, and don't bring your stuff because we don't fence for a while anyway.

on a more personal note, i'm dead as soon as my parents find out i got a c+ on a history test. a big one. i will probably be going after school because of this, and half of those questions were not discussed in class, explored in a handout, or present in the full chapter of reading. what kind of idiot asks questions that were never even mentioned briefly? bonus points for anybody who can tell me why the second continental congress gave one vote in all matters to each state, nomatter how big it was. and any state could veto any movement they tried to pass. Rhode Island could control the rest of the colonies under the articles of confederation. tricky bastard marked me off a ton of points for that question.

keep checking the site for updates. i am always adding more stuff to the html code. any questions about using html to modify a blog, just comment here or email me. i will be happy to help. if you want me to link to a blog, just tell me.
-huntersniper

Great News

well, i'm sorry about the lack of postage, but there hasn't been a whole lot to write about. I am currently writing the html for a new blog that i will use for more permanent stuff. This will include, at first, a story that i wrote for a class that i really liked. The assignment was three or four pages, and mine is currently 20.5, and yes, some people have called me crazy, although i prefer psychotic. I ate his liver with faba beans and a nice quiante. this site will be one of many that i can use like an actual website, with more than just a single page. They will appear in a modified links section, on the sidebar as always. any updates will be declared in posts. as always, however, this page will remain as it is, with a blog, news updates, links, and other crap. the url is huntersniper-other.blogspot.com. other sites will be added and changed around, possibly even with pictures, if i can get a good camera to the camp reunion. and once i learn how to upload them.

also, i am ecstatic about another paintball trip coming up. yeeeeaaaahhh. the second in two weeks, a new record, because this team has so far not done much, so i am trying to get things started. on this trip, currently set for the 27th of this november, i will be playing along side moonslice, berky, and frodo. others are busy, which is good because then we all fit into one car. by this time next year we will have no problems with transportation at all. additionally, my team is sponsored for free entry, and i am trying for the same at a local field because paintball depot, who sponsored us, is an hour away. with any curiosity about the sport, check out the guy with the gun on the right, (www.tippmann.com, check out the forum, under players) or www.paintballdepot.com. a third option is a google search (www.google.com). For those of you who know anything about it, i run a tippmann 98 custom, 88 cubic inch nitro tank from crossfire, 4500 psi, a 16 inch thunderpig, a halo b with rip drive installed, low pressure kit, bob long regulator, and a double trigger. dye manufactures the jersey and pants i use for playing, while jt makes the body armor. i highly recommend everything because it works well.

word out to my kutchers homies, etc, etc. MONKOFMONKEYS CHECK YOUR INBOX. I KEEP TRYING TO SEND YOU SOMETHING, WITH AN ATTACHMENT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DEVELOP SINCE CAMP, BUT IT ALWAYS GETS RETURNED. sorry about that, sometimes i feel the urge to yell at people.

in other news, my formerly funky haired friend is back in town, so those of you who are local should hit up JPLEES at about 6, maybe even a little earlier. Monkofmonkeys, this might mean that i will be late for fencing, or for the first time this year, miss it. damn. and i really love swords, too.

you are the best, so phrase it however you like, the intention is still there.

will talk later, so stay tuned and keep checking back.
-huntersniper

Updating Site, and a quick sumary

Unfortunately i have not updated the site as frequently as i would like. I find that i am spending my time re-learning html <geek> and messing with the layout and everything. </geek> As soon as i learn how to upload files to the web i will be broadcasting songs, primary from broadway and john williams. great music. So far i have mostly changed around the sidebar on the right, and for the life of me i cannot figure out where i would alter the sidebar on the left. Check out the graphics, they are some pretty cool links to informational sites on their respective pictures. most of you should have figured that out already, i did give you a good head start.

in other news fencing will be starting soon as schools. MKA, you're dead. no helping that one. And you montclair high kids are next. Soon we hope to have utterly destroyed columbia, mostly because they lost all of their starting seniors. unfortunately currency's school will not be fencing us, and probably ditto for styvescent and great neck. however, if you do want to be stuck in a car with your teammates for a long drive, we will be happy to kick your asses. we do try to be fair to everybody.

if the music was working today's selection would probably be "no good deed goes unpunished." following that will be the imperial march, and then two techno versions of the same, entitled rage and leviathan. mozart just rolled over in his grave and will soon be clawing at the lid of his coffin.

word up to my hommies from the white boy's ghetto. the good news is my paintball team is sponcored and will probably be playing at paintball depot again. the bad news is they have not played together before, and one is also on "teamkillers," a group famous for killing each other before hunting the enemy.

miss everybody from camp, and one in particular. you are the best. will continue updating, so check back every day or two to see what changes. and to help my site meter. hope to get 100.
later, all.
-Huntersniper

paintball trip 11/16/04

what a great day of paintball, running around and shooting fools. I haven't been in a while, and so yesterday i got to test all my new toys to see if they worked. I got all my gear together, and drove down to Paintball Depot (www.paintballdepot.com) with my chuch group. They may not sound like much, but we are a fierce bunch of gun-toting ass-kicking christians.
Gear
My gear actually worked perfectly, which is a new one. In past trips i have been understrength because something is always wrong with it, or being worked on in the factory, or in the mail. But not now. Goggles didn't fog, gun worked perfectly, my barrel screwed up but i quickly swapped in the spare.
Game 2
I will definately be bragging about this one for a long time. MonkofMonkeys, call 911. Give them a heads up. This game was played on beirut, and it was ugly. The idea is basic elimination, but it's a nice big field so that can be pretty hard. On one part i ran from the tree line when i thought nobody was paying attention to i could help reinforce my team. As soon as i ran, everybody started shooting at me. total chaos. i saw a foxhole in the middle of a clearing. the hole looked to be about two feet deep, just enough to hide me. hehehe. halfway through the air ir realized that it was four feet deep, with an inch of ice and a foot of water. (yes, there was snow on the ground). i landed, crashed through the ice, and sent up a giant splash. in the process i was soaked up to the waist. after i climbed out, and ran to the tree line on the other side of the clearing i found a teammate shooting at two people behind a bunker. i got him to distract them so i could run around and shoot these two in the back. on the way one noticed me and began firing, although miraculously they didn't hit me. the other didn't even notice. i ended up shooting the first in the head, and the second in the back. then i proceeded to inform them that they were out, after tripping over my own feet and rolling down a small hill. fun game.
Game 8
very fun game called uncle. play until you run out of paint or you can't take the pain. i kicked ass on that speedball field, laying down paint and popping people when they were stupid enough to stick their heads up. Funk even ran past me, trying to get to a bunker that would leave me exposed, but on the way i shot him 15 times or so. after he got to the bunker he kept popping up, so i layed another 5 or so on him, before he decided to give up and stay down. one kid even had an asthma attack, and he couldn't breathe, so the refs tried to convince him to quit. he didn't want to so i walked over to his bunker, leveled my marker, and informed him that he was out. when he tried to run i put a nice, neat shot onto the side of his hopper so he understood that he was done for that game. i believe that he is now fine, although i have heard rumors that he was hospitalized.
conclusion
it was a great day.
my gear worked, although now i have space issues to work out.
it was expensive, but my team is sponcored so it should be cheaper if i can go down there with two or three of them sometime.
i like shooting people.
i miss the pukeroom, and one of it's members in particular.
-huntersniper
huntersniper.blogspot.com
ps. photos are coming as soon as i get this online hosting thing finished.

Jobs

Kaonashi, how the hell do you charge whatever you want? My employer has been a friend of mine for years and she would not hesitate to fire my ass if i actually demanded something unreasonable. The best thing about the job is easily the hours. Two and a half a day for five days a week for four weeks. At something near 7 an hour that is pretty good. And sometimes I get talked into teaching school classes that come after the normal camp, for a massive increase in salary for that hour. Each year any councelors are guaranteed a job there for the next summer, because she needs experienced teachers. And a fifty cent per hour raise adds a couple of bucks.
By the way, best of luck for a speedy recovery to everybody's favorite tit. Hopefully you will be up and out of a wheelchair soon, and maybe be able to fence again someday. We're here for you.
I am also a volunteer at a church school, too. Now all my readers will be going to a hospital. Cracked ribs, and choking on food they were eating when they read this. Volunteer time is definately a good thing for a collage application. Damn, I don't like thinking about collage. It is...inevitable.
Correction: "If you love me, really love me, feed my sheep, BITCH!
At the fencing lessons that I have to teach Fridays to a bunch of 5 to 14 year olds Luigi and I constantly joke about killing them. Here's a quick little insight into my personal world.

-paintball trip coming up on the 13th. I love paintball. Something appeals to me about shooting other people, but nobody dies or gets seriously injured so you can shoot them again.
-"In the old country we did not ave dis, how you say, vomit. What is this puke? We only had bbbblllleeeaaaaarrrgggghhhh." Soon I will start to add more stuff and customize it. Stuff like links, lists, visit counter (lower right hand column) and whatever else I can put on here. Friends, just contact me and I can link to blogs or whatever. Photos and a guestbook also seem like good ideas.

I will post again soon, if I can.

What I'll do for Money

Well, because of recent strains on my wallet, I am beginning to accept odd jobs, and they just keep on getting odder. This morning I had to wake up at 7 so i could ride my bike into the center of town to stand in line in the cold wind, because a family friend dangled money from a string infront of my nose. A string so her hand was not bitten off. I had to sign her kid up for a ski trip sponcored by our town to a crappy little ski place called Shawnee, or something to that effect. I can bitch about that place later. Anyway...i had to spend a few hours standing in line and burn in beaurocratic hell so this kid could experience the joys of skiing. I got paid for it, though, so naturally that justifies bothering me with. On the way there I was nearly run over by a cop car. On the way back home I had the misfortune of finding myself going the wrong way down a one way street. DAMN! Not good. I hate cars.
And the afformentioned reason I hate Shawnee? Because the place is shit. Worthless. All the snow melts by ten in the morning, and then it refreezes into ice by three in the afternoon. On one beautiful Saturday, when i was skiing in seventy degree weather (don't ask how) i was rammed by a snowboarder. This abortion that lived turned into me because they were following the edge of the trail, and they couldn't see what was happening on the main portion. OOPS. They knocked into me and ripped both my skis off, sending me sliding down jagged ice for about twenty feet. When i found a mirror a few hours later, half of my face was gone. Skin was missing all down the right side of my face. It hurt. Any contact with anything left my skin feeling as though it was on fire. Even a strong breeze could set it off. When a friend on the trip found my goggles, he gave them to me. When i got home i discovered that they were wet, and when i accidently dropped them they splattered blood all over everything. My blood. They were completely soaked through in the second or two before they were ripped off my face by the ice. To get down the hill I was put on a tobaggon and pulled down the hill. For a while they even had me on oxygen running out of a compressed air tank. Not fun. Since then I have tried to ski only at better places. With decent snow, fast lifts, and hills that you can ski on, (compared to the large mounds that host Shawnee).
Other opportunities have also caught my entrepenurial attitude. They include babysitting and cat sitting. One of the weirdest I have undergone was filling in for a neighbor at a Strawberry Festival, which is basically a fundraiser that the local elementary schools have. For about three hours I had to stand around and make cotton candy. And fix the cotton candy maker. And pacify bitching customers yelling at said cotton candy maker.
Now, I even have a summer job. For four weeks each summer I become a camp councelor. MonkofMonkeys will have to be taken to the emergency room when he stops laughing. If he ever stops, that is. I teach young kids about the environment at a local arboretum. The scary part is that I was once in this class, over a decade ago. The hours are good, but we have to put up with so much crap. Every day there are trail walks and games, although the kids usually chase me all around this arboretum, or get my fellow staff members to track me down so they can stuff me in a closet that they lovingly refer to as "jail." They there are craft projects, and stories or reading and songs. Snack time is the worst. Applejuice and cookies. I am still amazed at what chaos innocent little kids can cause with just those two items.

Have to go, schoolwork is to blame.
(inside joke) If you love me, really love me, feed my sheep. (repeat until ears begin to bleed)
Adios, amigos. Y buena suerte para tu dia y tu vida

Fencing

Once again, i will have to go teach a fencing class or two. That must mean that it's Friday again. Lilov has me teaching two classes. Saber and foil. So i get to go and try to teach kids from four years old up to fourteen years old how to fence. How to pick up a weapon and wield it without hurting themselves. Or the person next to them as the case may be. I have been fencing for longer than some of those kids have been alive. MonkofMonkeys, see you there. Luckily i have had today and yesturday off of school, although through trying really hard i have been able to avoid any serious work. Will update later. promise. (Ishenkempo, paintball, and fencing). Here I will communicate with friends, or those who know me, or those who wish to venture a guess as to who i am, where i live, etc. Now, on with the show...

The President
well, Bush, the monkey lookalike, is president of the great United States yet again, and i plan to move to Mexico. Probably Mexico City, because i have been there and it seems nice enough, except for the polution. Kerry should have one, and i am surprised that he did not. Unfortunately we elected him this time, so there are no major voting problems to complain of, other than the total failure of the provincial ballots system to be designed competantly, and that there were problems with the electronic voting systems, and how they went republican even when democrat was selected. one would expect them to have sorted this out by now. one would hope, at least. i doubt that this blog will live very long after i am drafted.

Friends
Traveling as much as i have has allowed me to meet a wide variety of people. this site, however, will mainly be conveying news to friends from various summer camps, pukerooms and vomitoreums, and those who i am unfortunate enough to associate myself with at school. (kidding). i hope that all of you enjoy the new site, and with any luck my other will be up and running soon. just add www. to my last name, then put .com as a suffix, and you will be magically transported there, provided that you remember to type the spell into the url box at the top of your screen. even epee and foilists are allowed here. although it will probably be frequented mostly be saberists. to those of you who Kutchers means anything, contact me or Currency for any updates on the January trip. later.
